Test Planning Lead
Location: New York, NY
Brief Description:
Exciting opportunity to join a test planning team for the Private Banking area of a Tier 1 global financial services firm. Create effective test plans, test scripts, and automated tests for various Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Foreign Exchange project workstreams. Testing will focus on negative testing. Educate and mentor other test teams on proper Test Planning, Test Scripting, and Automated Testing.
Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive System Integration and End-to-End Test Plans and Regression Test Scripts.
- Perform scripted and exploratory testing with emphasis on negative testing.
- Execute manual tests and create automated tests using HP Mercury QuickTest Pro.
- Provide education and mentoring to other test teams on Test Planning, Test Scripting, and Automated Testing.
- Monitor and ensure that the appropriate testing environments are correct and available for testing.
Requirements:
- Education: BSCS / BSCE / BSCSE / BSEE
- Must have 7+ years of experience creating test cases and testing Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and/or Foreign Exchange systems.
- 5+ years of Mercury QuickTest Pro expertise.
- Must be highly motivated to learn new financial systems and independently develop effective test plans and test cases.
- Must be highly creative, curious, and effective at finding new defects.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, written, presentation and mentoring skills as well as being a team player.
Senior Systems Integrator
Location: New York, NY
Brief Description:
Integrate low-latency hardware-based messaging appliances into new or rearchitected performance-critical financial systems.
Responsibilities:
- Work with client team to architect needed changes for high performance future state system
- Modify C/C++, Java, and/or C# code, as needed, using special APIs
- Integrate new components into existing environment
- Plan and perform testing and benchmarking of integrated system
- Document all aspects of the integration
- Train and mentor developers and testers on using and maintaning the new system
Requirements:
- Education: BSCS or Equivalent
- Experience in Financial Services Domain: 5+ Years
- Messaging Experience in Financial Services Domain (e.g., Tibco, JMS): 4+ Years
- C/C++, Java, and/or C# Life-Cycle Development Experience: 4+ Years
- Application and System Integration Experience: 4+ Years
- Operating Environments: Multiple (Linux, Solaris, Windows): 4+ Years
- Networking Experience: 4+ Years
- Linux/Solaris/Windows System Administration Experience: 3+ Years
- Configuration Management Experience: 3+ Years

Hardware Acceleration Lead
Location: New York, NY
Brief Description:
Lead engagements at top-tier global financial service firms to enable them to explore and use hardware accelerated technologies and tools to yield end-to-end performance improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze client's current state performance bottlenecks
- Recommend various hardware-acceleration options
- Facilitate application and vendor product selection process
- Facilitate hardware acceleration POC or Pilot project
- Plan and perform testing and benchmarking
- Measure and document hardware-acceleration performance results
- Recommend specific hardware-accelerated end-to-end solutions
- Assist with architecting the future state systems
- Facilitate the initial re-architecture phases of the existing systems
- Train and mentor development and test teams on how to use the new acceleration approach, technology, and tools
Requirements:
- Education: BSCS, BSEE, BEEE or Equivalent
- Experience Working With Hardware Acceleration Technologies:
- Experience Working with Intel and AMD Multicore CPUs
- Experience in Financial Services: 5+ Years
- C/C++, Java, and/or C# Life-Cycle Development Experience: 3+ Years
- Computer Architecture: 2+ Years
- Solid Linear Algebra Skills
- MATLAB and/or Mathematica: 1+ Years
